Terms of use
The short terms, in plain English.
These terms cover the website, the free trial, family accounts and membership. They are deliberately short.
These terms are pending review by counsel. They describe how we intend to work; a lawyer has not yet reviewed them.
Who we are
0to100math.com and the 0 to 100 app are provided under the name 0 to 100 Mathematics. You can reach us at hello@0to100math.com.
These terms are a draft; the contracting entity and governing law will be stated here before any payment is taken.

Family accounts
- A family account is for a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. By creating one you confirm that you are, and that you are the parent or guardian of each child you add. Children are learners inside your family and do not have accounts of their own.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, including by your children.
- You can download everything we hold about your family, or delete the account, in the Family room at any time. What we keep, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
The trial
The trial gives the full app free for 14 days, with no card. Without an account it runs in one browser, from that browser’s first visit to the app, and progress is kept in that browser. If you create a family account, your trial is 14 days from the day the account is created, on every device you sign in to. When a trial ends, nothing is deleted.
Membership and prices
- Family: $49 a month, or $490 a year, for every child in the family, ages 4 to 18.
- Guided: $2,400 a year, by application, limited to 40 families. It adds a 45-minute onboarding call and a monthly 30-minute review with a math educator.
- Prices are in US dollars. Any tax that applies is shown on the checkout page before you pay.
- Founding families. A founding family is one that reserves a plan before billing opens and then joins that plan when we write to say billing has opened. A founding family keeps the price it reserved for as long as its membership continues without a break; if membership ends, rejoining is at the price of the day.
- Billing is not open yet. Reserving a plan is free and commits you to nothing.
Payment and renewal
- Payments are taken by Stripe. When you join, you agree to a membership that renews automatically until you cancel: the monthly plan every month, the yearly plan every year, each time at your plan’s current price (see price changes below; founding families keep theirs), charged to the card you gave.
- Joining during a trial. If your trial has days left when you join, the first charge is made when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you are not charged.
- Reminders. Before a yearly membership renews, we email you a reminder with the date and the amount.
- Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, we tell you by email at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so that you can cancel first. Founding families keep their price as described above.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a short time and we let you know; if it still fails, membership ends and nothing is deleted.
Guarantee and cancelling
If membership is not right for your family, write to us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. This applies to Family and to Guided, monthly or yearly.
Cancelling is online, at any time, from the Family room (it opens Stripe’s billing page), or by writing to us. It stops the next renewal. The monthly plan runs to the end of the month already paid for. The yearly plan runs to the end of the year already paid for; after the 30-day guarantee, the unused part of a year is not refunded, except where the law requires it.
When membership ends, practice stops, but nothing is deleted: you can still sign in, read your children’s records and download them. Your records are deleted only when you delete them, or as the privacy policy describes for accounts that are no longer used.
Using the app
- A parent or guardian sets up each learner and is responsible for a child’s use of the app.
- Membership is for one household. Please do not resell it or share it outside the family.
- Please add only children who are in your care.
- Please do not try to break, overload or copy the service, or use it to harm anyone.
Our content, and its limits
The lessons, problems, maps and text are ours or used with permission, and are for your family’s own learning. We work hard to make them correct, and we show the evidence behind each teaching choice, including where it is weak. The app is an educational program, not a guarantee of any grade or exam result, and it does not replace professional advice about a child’s learning needs.
Responsibility
We provide the service as it is, and we will fix what we can when something is wrong. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains what we keep, where and for how long. In short: without an account your child’s progress stays in your browser; with a family account it is kept on our server for your family alone, until you delete it.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. For members, a change that matters will be sent by email before it takes effect.
